I have used a number of free and paid for vector graphic apps with similar functions, and have to say that Affinity is one of the best! It runs smoothly and everything is wonderfully easy to learn and use. The price is probably the best part, not overly expensive, and comes with mostly everything you could ever want.
The developers are constantly working on improving it and adding functionality. So I can not recommend it enough! If it is not enabled, your experience will be limited and you will be unable to purchase products, complete forms or load images and videos.

And I can't find any configuration options to set that up. Additionally I am used to rotate view in other painting applications fluently, which is very handy, too. I searched for these topics everywhere Finally found a workable and easy solution. I do more painting than image manipulation, so panning and zooming hundreds or thousands of times per piece gets really frustrating if it requires fifteen buttons and thirty tools.
I use a Wacom Intuos 4 tablet, but have always overlooked a very handy navigation option in the Wacom Tablet Properties. It is possible to set the pen buttons to certain navigation functions. So simple and it was hiding in plain view all along! Anyway, there are lots of options and combinations to choose from, so I hope this helps you out, too.
I was looking for something like this. The work around of Engelbert for me is not working propperly, I tried to get used to it but it is annoying and it is not easy no get the touch of it.
Sorry to hear it's not working for you, but I greatly second your request for having more customization options for input settings. It is a constant pain to have to find solutions that harmonize well across apps while apps like AP force you to abandon previously successful combos.
For me this is one of the main reasons I cannot recommend AP for serious digital painting. Personally I don't understand why things like this don't get priority over new tools and features. Adding a new tool results in one or two extra gimmicks. More customization in input, bindings etc instantly improves all existing tools and workflows. You can post now and register later.
