Microsoft office professional plus 2016 (lifetime license) free -
I've read several other threads groveling about this issue, but still no clear explanation as to what is going on. All the threads get locked with no answer. I distinctly remember installing Office Professional Plus lifetime license prior to mothballing it and confirmed then it was activated properly. After booting it up a couple days ago, it spend about 24 hours updating itself.
Uhm, okay. So I go through the steps to activate it again, which leads to a wizard downloading "Office". After this mysterious installation, it is clear to me that the wizard install Office When I use my Office Professional Plus key on setup.
And now my installation is constantly telling me that my Office is not activated. What is going on here and why is this so difficult to resolve? This thread is locked. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. How do I check if there is a subscription version activated alongside Office ? These are the only two items in my Windows 10 settings. To see all options, use the scroll bar or resize the window for the Settings app.
You'll see a category for Apps as shown in the screen shot below. Hey, so I followed your steps. I pasted the results in the screenshot below. And when I open Office, it clearly has the Office interface, not the Pro Plus interface I can recognize the subtle differences.
So clearly there is some kind of license glitching going on here. I don't know how to fix this! Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. Search the community and support articles Install, redeem, activate Microsoft and Office Search Community member.
